December, January and February – This is Gold Coast Summer

This is Beach time and Surf time and a great place for the beach.

But the Gold Coast summer seems to last forever!

With our warm temperatures recorded as early as November, and extending far into April, Surfers Paradise has a warm climate all year round.

The official summer month’s records highs averaging 28 degrees while overnight lows are still often in the high teens and low twenties so very pleasant.

First item to pack is your swimwear or togs for the beach as well as a hat and lots of sunscreen, as the UV factor can be high at this time of year.

March, April and May- This is Gold Coast Autumn

Amazing warm daysand warm nights for Gold Coast Weather .

Surfers Paradise is a great autumn holiday destination with temperatures in the twenties with  warm days and slightly cooler nights.

Water temperatures are still high enough to swim comfortably so pack your swimwear.

If you plan to spend time on the beach in the sun remember to bring hat, sunscreen, t-shirt and sunglasses even in the autumn months.

June, July and August- This is Gold Coast Winter

This is what we locals call the perfect time on the Gold Coast to spend on the beach or 5 minute walk from the Mooring on Cavill walk into the Surfers Paradise Precinct!

Warm Days and Cool Balmy Nights for perfect Gold Coast Weather

In winter, Surfers Paradise’s coldest temperatures rarely go below ten degrees overnight and can be as high as 21 degrees on most days.

make sure to pack a warm jackets so you can enjoy the great sunset and continue your day into the  evening.

Jeans and a light jacket are enough for you to stay warm during the day and evening.

Ocean temperatures are a little cooler in winter and at Moorings on Cavill we keep the pool heaters on all year round so make sure you pack your swimwear for those warm winter days.

Even in winter it is important to continue using sunscreen and wear your hat

This is the best time of the year as the warmth of Spring comes to Surfers Paradise and Moorings on Cavill!

Spring provides a weather climate where the temperature is rising but the rains are not yet ready to fall.

Spring also brings longer days, with the sun lasting from 5am to 6pm so you can ensure you can make the most of your time in Surfers Paradise.

During the day, keep up the sunscreen on and enjoy the weather which is perfect for beach activities in spring where the temperatures average a comfortable 25 degrees.
